Grant Maxwell is an editor at Persistent Press, and he has served as an editor at Vanderbilt University Press, and as a professor of English at Baruch College and Lehman College in New York. A graduate of the City University of New York’s Graduate Center (Ph.D., M.A.) and The University of Texas at Austin (B.A.), he has been an editor of Archai since 2011. He is the author of The Dynamics of Transformation: Tracing an Emerging World View, How Does It Feel?: Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and the Philosophy of Rock and Roll, and two children’s books, and he has written articles for the American Philosophical Association blog, American Songwriter magazine, the Journal of Religion and Popular Culture, and Archai. Becca S. Tarnas is a writer, artist, and practicing archetypal astrologer, as well as a doctoral candidate in Philosophy and Religion at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Her dissertation is on the theoretical implications of the synchronicity between the two Red Books of C.G. Jung and J.R.R. Tolkien. Becca received her M.A. from CIIS in the Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness program, and her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College in Environmental Studies and Theater Arts. Her research interests include ecology, imagination, philosophy, and depth psychology. Richard Tarnas is a professor of philosophy and cultural history at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, and is the founding director of its graduate program in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness. He frequently lectures on archetypal studies and depth psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, and was formerly the director of programs and education at Esalen Institute in Big Sur. A graduate of Harvard University and Saybrook Institute, he is the author of The Passion of the Western Mind, a history of the Western world view from the ancient Greek to the postmodern widely used in universities. His second book, Cosmos and Psyche: Intimations of a New World View, received the Book of the Year Prize from the Scientific and Medical Network, and is the basis for the upcoming documentary film Changing of the Gods. Keiron Le Grice is a professor of depth psychology and chair of the Jungian and Archetypal Studies specialization at Pacifica Graduate Institute, Santa Barbara, where he teaches courses on archetypes, alchemy, individuation, synchronicity, and the history of depth psychology. He was educated at the University of Leeds, England (B.A. honors, Philosophy and Psychology) and the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco (M.A., Ph.D., Philosophy and Religion). Keiron is the author of four books––The Archetypal Cosmos, Discovering Eris, The Rebirth of the Hero, and the forthcoming Archetypal Reflections. A founding editor of Archai: The Journal of Archetypal Cosmology (2008-2015), Keiron now serves as Senior Editorial Advisor. He has also taught for CIIS and Grof Transpersonal Training (UK,) and is commissioning editor for Muswell Hill Press in London.
